Est. Springville, Alabama
Small-batch pickles, preserves, and condiments crafted with locally sourced ingredients and a whole lot of patience — right here on Moore Road.
Our Story
Paula's Pickle Patch started as a weekend project in a Springville kitchen — a few extra jars of dill, a batch of sweet-and-spicy chips, and a growing list of neighbors who kept coming back for more.
Today, we're still small-batch. Still making every batch by hand. Still sourcing vegetables from local farms whenever the season allows. What changed is the word-of-mouth: Springville, and the surrounding towns, have made us their go-to for pickles that actually taste like something worth writing home about.
No factory shortcuts. No industrial brine. Just good vegetables, quality vinegar, the right amount of garlic, and enough time for the flavors to do what they're supposed to do.

What We Offer
The one everyone asks for first. Crisp cucumber spears packed with fresh dill, garlic, and black pepper in our signature brine.
Thin-sliced cucumbers with a kick. Jalapeño, red pepper flakes, and a touch of sugar — these are the ones that disappear first.
Sweet, tangy, and perfectly balanced. Our bread-and-butter recipe has been a crowd-pleaser since the first batch hit the shelf.
Tender-crisp green beans pickled with mustard seed, onion, and a whisper of horseradish. Great on charcuterie boards.
Vibrant, tangy, and impossibly pretty. These are our top topping for tacos, burgers, and grain bowls.
Our honey-mustard pickling liquid turned dipping sauce. Perfect for pretzels, fries, or straight off the spoon.
Seasonal varieties available — ask about what's fresh this month.
How We Work
Step 1
We work with local Alabama farms for the freshest cucumbers, peppers, and seasonal vegetables.
Step 2
Every jar gets the same careful ratio of vinegar, salt, sugar, and spices. No guessing — just recipe.
Step 3
Vegetables are hand-packed into jars with whole spices, then covered with hot brine.
Step 4
Jars are sealed and processed, then rested so the flavors develop fully before they reach you.
"I drove twenty minutes just to get these pickles. Worth every mile."
